We advocate for appraisers. We are the active voice of the California appraiser.

California Coalition of Appraisal Professionals (CaCAP) speaks out in support of California appraisers. Whether state or federal, legislative or administrative, our team is committed to communicating appraiser views, positions, needs and recommendations. We have something to say; we intend to say it. We promote free-market solutions rather than government intervention to the current challenges we face.

A unified voice makes sense. History proves that the size of a community, and its willingness to speak out, can change its professions course. Historically, appraisers have been slow to take advantage of this potential. Our community is sizable and now, finally, we can speak out in common cause. CaCAP is our unified voice.

Education a top priority. We believe in an educated appraiser community. We actively support, and promote, local educators and chapters of national appraiser organizations that provide high quality education and offer professional appraiser designations. We believe this has a strong effect on improving the future of our profession.

Member services. Our team is looking for partners and for the best possible value added opportunities. As we expand our numbers we will be developing product and service opportunities in areas like insurance, data services, software, website opportunities, financial services, legal, insurance, travel, retail, and more.
